Transportation

Central Lee Community School District encompasses about 180 square miles. The District utilizes 14 bus routes and 2 special education routes to transport approximately 800-900 student per day. The Transportation Department is supervised by its director, Kim Ensminger. Lauren Steffensmeier assists with the transportation secretarial needs and dispatch.

The Transportation Department is always looking for substitute bus and van drivers!

Please feel free to call the office if you would like more information. The Transportation Office is open from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. every student attendance day. The office number is: 319-835-9510.

In the event of poor road conditions due to inclement weather, buses will follow the Emergency (hard surface) Routes. This will be communicated through our school website, facebook, and radio. If we run hard surface routes in the morning, they will be run in the afternoon, as well. If you have questions, please feel free to contact Kim Ensminger.
