Our Varsity Volleyball and Cross Country teams travel to Keokuk tonight to compete in a local showdown. Our Volleyball team looks to beat the Chiefs in the first trophy game matchup for the "Battle of 218" trophy. Our Cross Country teams look to place against local rivals. Due to the heat, cross country has been pushed back to start at 6:30pm.

Families play an important role in helping keep our school community healthy. Please keep your student home when they are not feeling well and experiencing any of the following symptoms:

➡️ A fever of 100.4°F or higher
➡️ Vomiting or diarrhea
➡️ A contagious illness
➡️ Symptoms that prevent them from comfortably participating in school

Your student should be fever free for at least 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medication before returning to school. ❤️‍🩹

Our Varsity Volleyball team hits the road to compete in the Wapello Tournament held at Wilton High School. Due to the intense heat and Wapello getting out early, the tournament has been moved to Wilton High School so all of the teams do not lose playing opportunity.

A Keokuk native and Western Illinois University graduate, she is looking forward to meeting her new students and families, building relationships, and seeing those special “aha!” moments when learning clicks.

Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with her two sons and her baseball-loving family. A few of her favorites include tacos, “The Sandlot,” the Iowa Hawkeyes, warm beach vacations, and Diet Mountain Dew.

Savannah is returning home to the Central Lee community, where she grew up. A Montrose native, she earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Morningside University.

Outside the classroom, Savannah loves spending time with her family and reading. Her favorite book is “The Invisible Man.”

Aden was born and raised in Keokuk and graduated from Keokuk High School in 2022. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Northern Iowa and will be teaching reading and social studies at Central Lee.

Outside of the classroom, Aden enjoys traveling, watching and participating in sports, and visiting Florida with his family every year. His favorite food is seafood, especially shrimp, and he plans to return to school to earn his master’s degree.

Annalise grew up in Clark County, where she graduated from high school in 2022. She attended William Penn University in Oskaloosa, where she was also a member of the cheer team.

Outside of the classroom, Annalise enjoys sewing, reading, watching movies, and all things crafty. Her favorite book series is "The Hunger Games," and she also enjoys pasta, fried rice, and a sweet treat.

Annalise chose Central Lee because of its culture and the great things she heard about the district while growing up in the area.

Tiffany graduated from Central Lee and attended Culver-Stockton College, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. She is certified in middle school English language arts, math, and science, as well as K-12 special education.

Tiffany and her husband have three children, and she enjoys camping and spending time with family and friends. She has also worn many hats throughout her life, including serving as a Marine, firefighter, EMT, and coach.
