The Central Lee FFA Chapter had a great week at the Lee County Fair! We are proud of all of our members who represented our chapter in many different ways throughout the week.
Many of our members exhibited livestock as part of their Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) projects. Their time and hard work throughout the year were on display in the show ring, and it was great to see them share the results of their efforts.
Our members also helped usher the Lee County Fair Queen candidates during the Queen Contest and volunteered at Farmer Bill's Barn during Kids Day. At Farmer Bill's Barn, FFA members helped answer questions about the animals, and gave kids the opportunity to pet and learn about a variety of farm animals.

Our Hawks defend their home field one final time in hopes of becoming District 9 Champions! The Hawks face the Albia Demons at 7:00pm tonight, and the winners advance to take on either Pleasantville or Grand View Christian in the Substate 5 matchup on Tuesday. A huge thanks to Jerry Mohrfield, Century Signs, and Jesse Day for getting our brand new Fair-Play scoreboard up and ready for tonight's game! It is preferred spectators purchase tickets online, but cash is available.
