ISASP Results
Individual student reports for the Spring 2023 Iowa Statewide Assessment of Student Progress (ISASP) have been released. Over the next few days, these reports will be distributed to all elementary, middle, and high school students who completed the assessments.
The ISASP serves as an important tool to offer insights into how our students are performing in alignment with the Iowa Core Academic Standards. These tests are one of many indicators we use to gauge the academic success of our students.
We strongly encourage you to take the time to review your student's ISASP report and engage in open discussions with them about the results. Feel free to ask questions and seek feedback from your student(s) regarding their strengths and areas they can further develop.
For your convenience, we have provided a comprehensive guide that explains how to interpret the individual student report, which can be accessed at this link.
At Central Lee, fostering academic growth for our students is a top priority. We have heightened our commitment to employ a diverse range of instructional strategies aimed at promoting academic progress for all students. In addition to the ISASP, we measure math and literacy growth and success for K-8 students using the iReady program. For our high school students, we administer the Measurement of Academic Progress (MAP) test. Our educators diligently review these results and work hard to provide opportunities that foster student progress and high achievement.
As always, we appreciate your collaboration and active engagement in your student’s educational journey. If you have any questions about your student’s ISASP results, please do not hesitate to reach out to your student’s teacher or building principal.
Sincerely,
Angie Fransk
Curriculum Director
