High School Art
Central Lee Art students are starting the year off strong! A lot of amazing work is being done, and they are planning for all their upcoming shows. Each year, students look forward to challenging themselves to outdo their achievements from the previous year. One exciting project this year is Colton Tafts’s tree frog sculpture, featuring a hollowed-out tree for the frogs to attach to!
The Art Club is busy planning the Happy Holiday’s Craft and Vendor Show at the high school in both gyms on November 23 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. There’s already an impressive lineup of vendors, with more being added daily! If you’re interested in being part of this event, please email jjones@centrallee.org to receive a form and reserve your spot.
Last year was packed with activities for the Central Lee Art Club students! They participated in the conference art show workshops, learned new techniques, and took part in several other exciting events. Highlights include attending Fright Fest with AFS in October, decorating cookies with Blue Umbrella Bakery in December, and helping at the STEM/STEAM night.
The year wrapped up with four major art shows, where the students performed exceptionally well. Here are the results:
