The Central Lee Community School District is now accepting open enrollment applications for the 2025-26 school year.
Families interested in enrolling students in grades 1-12 must apply by Iowa’s March 1 deadline, while the kindergarten open enrollment deadline is September 1.
“We are excited to welcome new students and families to Central Lee,” said Superintendent Dr. Andy Crozier. “As our district continues to grow, we remain committed to providing an outstanding education with top-tier academics, modern facilities, and a supportive learning environment where all students can thrive.
Serving students from preschool through 12th grade, Central Lee CSD offers a robust academic curriculum and a wide range of extracurricular activities. The district’s commitment to educational excellence earned it an Apple Distinguished District designation in 2024 and recognition as one of Iowa’s "Top Workplaces" by the Des Moines Register in recent years. For the 2023-24 school year, Central Lee High School received a “High Performing” rating on the Iowa School Performance Profiles, while Central Lee Middle School received a “Commendable” rating.
Open enrollment has contributed significantly to Central Lee CSD’s growth, with families of more than 450 students choosing the district. Last year, enrollment growth was evenly split between resident and open-enrolled students. While the district cannot provide transportation directly from students' homes in neighboring districts, several open enrollment pick-up locations are available along the district’s perimeter.
Central Lee CSD has an open enrollment policy, with openings available in several grade levels. Prospective families are encouraged to apply. To check availability or learn more, contact the district office at 319-835-9510.
