2nd Grade Update
Wow! Where does the time go? The school year is halfway over, and we still have so much learning and growing to do. Second graders have been studying text features and informational writing. They will start doing research to write an informational piece. One topic that the students will research will be careers they are interested in for their future.
To be prepared for the research, students were asked what career they were interested in learning more about. This is how they answered:
Mrs. Bryant
Oaklee: I want to be a florist because I like cutting flowers and picking flowers for my grandma.
Gabby: I want to be a vet because they help animals.
Brayden: I want to be a farmer because it provides food for people.
Luke: I want to be a scientist because you can look at plants.
Hannah: I want to be to a gymnastics teacher because I do gymnastics and I like watching it.
Brandon: I want to be a farmer because you can drive tractors and combines.
Jaylee: I want to be a police officer because they help people so they don’t get robbed.
Brystol: I want to be a basketball teacher because I like playing basketball.
Ben: I want to be a police officer because you get to make the world a better place.
Braxtyn: I want to be a vet that cleans dogs, and that’s it. Because I want to take them to the park and wash them because I love dogs.
Kolten: I want to be a farmer because my dad’s a farmer and it looks fun.
Jaxin: I want to be a policeman with my puppy because my puppy can chase after robbers.
Ayden: I want to be a policeman because you can arrest people and stop them doing bad things.
Gavin: I want to be a crane operator because my dad is one.
Carter: I want to be a youtuber because they do fun stuff.
Saydee: I want to be a doctor because I like to help people.
Jansen: I want to be an NBA player because I love basketball.
Connor: I want to be a gaming streamer because I would make money.

Hudson: I want to be a football player, basketball player, and a wrestler.
Kaesen: When I grow up, I want to be a newspaper guy that throws newspapers. I also want to be a scientist because I like to do science and it's my favorite subject.
Cooper: I want to work at a zoo because I can feed the animals.
Gracelynn: I want to be a scientist because I really like to study animals and all the trees.
Ayden: I want to be a police officer.
Leah: When I grow up, I want to be a vet because I love animals and I don’t like it when they get hurt.
Clarence: I am going to be a superhero because I want to.
Angelina: I want to be a vet because I like animals.
Atticus: I am going to be a police officer and a fireman because their jobs are fun.
Slade: I want to work at the police office with my mom.
Emmalyn: When I grow up, I want to be a teacher because it sounds fun.
Krista: I am interested in being an animal doctor or vet because I love animals and helping them.
Aleah: I want to be a hair stylist because I like doing people’s hair.
Henry: In the future, I want to be a cop because the future technology will make the job easier and safer.
Paislee: I would like to be a vet because I will get to help animals and the environment.
Kaiden: I want to work at HyVee because my mom and aunt work there. I also like how a whole bunch of people go and visit HyVee to get food.
Jaxson: I want to be a YouTuber to make people laugh and make money!
Emma: I want to be a teacher because I want to teach everything I learned.
