Central Lee Middle School
As I write this last article for the 21-22 school year, it amazes me how quickly the year has gone by! This was our first “normal” year in what seems like a long time :) It was so nice to have all of the students in the building learning together.
As summer vacation begins, learning doesn’t have to end! Encourage your child to read books or articles of interest, visit local places to learn about our community, or enroll your student in enrichment opportunities. Southeastern Community College, local libraries, Lee County Conservation, Iowa State Extension are just a few agencies that offer summer learning opportunities.
You will be receiving a link to a SMORE newsletter with information about our fun day on May 25. I am just waiting for a couple details to be finalized, and then I will send it out. We look forward to this end of the year fun day! It’s nice to chill and hang out with the students :)
Students will be turning in their iPads on May 23. They need to make sure they turn in the school-issued case, charging brick, and charging cord along with their iPad. If they are missing any of these items, or the iPad is damaged, the following charges will be issued:
$20 for missing charging cable (USB-C)
$20 for missing charging brick (USB-C)
$99 for a broken screen / cracked glass
$99 for broken keyboard case (6-12)
As always, please feel free to contact staff or Mrs. Ensminger if you have questions or concerns.
There were so many memories generated throughout the year, it’s impossible to share them all, but here are a few pictures to share with you.
