6 Students from the Central Lee Ag-Ed/FFA department were invited to a test/research farm in rural Bondurant, Iowa. The students were selected based on their career path of engineering. Students were treated to a multitude learning stations on new innovations in agricultural equipment. The following students represented Central Lee High School at the Iowa Junior Academy of Science Symposium held on the campus of Mount Mercy University in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on Thursday April 25th . Senior: Sidney Gruntmeir, Junior: Alivia Cook, and Freshman: Allison Gruntmeir. These students presented an oral seminar over their science research.
-Sidney Gruntmeir won a $500.00 senior scholarship
-Allison Gruntmeir 1st place 9-11th grade
All expenses paid trip to attend the AJAS annual meeting in Boston, Massachusetts in February 2025.

Mrs. Jones and the Central Lee High School Art Students went to SCC to see their artwork in the Gallery and create art with professional artists from the area! Some of the techniques they experienced were clay slab faces, pastel flowers, polymer clay tins and jewelry, acrylic landscapes, digital art, and paper quilling.
