Congratulations to the Marching Hawks on such an outstanding performance at their first field show competition! Earning awards in multiple categories—Outstanding Color Guard, Percussion, Drum Major, and securing 2nd place overall in class 2A. The hard work and dedication of the students really paid off. We celebrate this weekend's Iowa Hawkeye Football Kid Captain our very own Aiden Washburn! This Central Lee Elementary 3rd Grader was sent off yesterday with our school spirit behind him! We are so thankful he has received such great care at Stead Family Children's Hospital since birth for his heart condition and he deserves to be honored!

The Central Lee FFA hosted a Farm Strong event in cooperation with the Lee County Farm Bureau recently at a home football game. The group expressed the importance of agriculture in Lee County through quizzes and games.
