The Central Lee FFA participated in the annual Chapter Officer Leadership Training(COLT) held on the campus of Muscatine Community College. Officers and young leaders were inspired by Iowa FFA officers as well as District FFA officers. The leaders were part of workshops and leadership sessions to gain new ideas to bring back to the local chapter. The Central Lee FFA recognized 6 outstanding 1st year members in the Central Lee FFA at the annual parent-member-community appreciation banquet held recently. They were awarded the coveted “Star” Greenhand award which is based on scholarship, FFA activities and a well-planned Supervised Agricultural Experience Program(SAEP).
