On Tuesday, November 19th, students from Central Lee's Business Law class were hosted at the Keokuk Courthouse. We were able to hear about a variety of jobs in the legal system, legal processes, interesting backstories from the professionals we met, and we were given a personal tour of the facility. Thank you to Judge Stensvaag and the rest of the staff at the Courthouse. #CTEworksforCL #Proud2bCL

Jacob Vollmer’s apprenticeship, through our Work-Based Learning Program, at J.J. Nichting Company has helped launch him forward to his future career. His hands on learning of the skills, knowledge, and experience it takes to be successful as a diesel tech has given him a leg up in life. Jacob is looking forward to continuing this career path because he says, “There hasn’t been a day I haven’t liked working there.” #CTEworksforCL #Proud2bCL

Check out the level of engagement in our high school chemistry class! This past summer, the district renovated our high school science classrooms to include a classroom space and a separate lab space. The classrooms include state-of-the-art lab equipment, working utilities, and high-end technology. If you haven't seen the rooms, we will host an open house during a high school basketball game this winter. Be on the lookout for this event date soon!
