The Marching Hawks ended their season on a high note on Saturday, October 19th. The band competed at the IHSMA State Marching Festival in Muscatine, where they earned a Division 1 Superior Rating—the highest possible rating at the event. Following their performance in Muscatine, the band traveled to the Quincy Octoberfest Field Show Competition, earning 2nd place out of eight bands from across the Tri-State region and was name the Outstanding Band from Iowa. These students have worked incredibly hard throughout the season, and their dedication shows. Congratulations to the Marching Hawks on a fantastic season!

On Friday, October 18, from 8:30am to 3:00pm, the road in front of the new district office construction will be CLOSED to traffic. The Marching Hawks competed this weekend at the 33rd Annual Clark County Parade of Champions. The Parade of Champions was the final performance and competition for the middle school marching band while the high school band has one more weekend to compete at the IHSMA State Festival as well as the Quincy HS Octoberfest Field Show Competition.

Over time, this habit can help you strengthen your emotional intelligence and improve your wellbeing!

To help our families prepare for winter weather, we’re sharing important details about Central Lee CSD Emergency Bus Routes. When buses are operating on "Emergency Routes" or “Hard Surface Roads,” a notice will be sent out. Buses will stop at designated pickup points at specific times, and students along traveled roadways will still be picked up at home. Stay informed and get all the details at https://5il.co/2ylou.
