On Friday, October 25, the Central Lee Music Department hosted the Annual Crossroads Honor Choir for 5th-8th grade students. Guest conductors Jenny McClenahan (5th-6th grade) and Katie Streeby (7th-8th grade) led the honor choirs, which included 42 Central Lee students. A total of 130 students from area schools attended the event at CLHS, where they spent the day learning and rehearsing a full concert program. The day concluded with an onstage performance for their parents. The Crossroads Honor Choir was established to give students the opportunity to learn from new conductors, experience different rehearsal techniques, and collaborate with peers from various communities to create music together.
